Unless I missed it in the comments, I’m surprised no one mentioned David Lynch in the rabbits reference. They made their appearance in several places, but most recently in the movie INLAND EMPIRE.

travis: surprisingly, he never gave my nephews nightmares when he made appearances at easter. at least not that i’m aware of…
sir: oddly enough, i never liked donnie darko. and the rabbit in that movie is WAY creepier than Sometimes Rabbit.
