THB: i am, as a matter of fact. i’m going to kill a moose next weekend.
vahid: that’s the one thing she doesn’t have, but maybe i’ll suggest it to her!
kat: that’s hilarious! no, i haven’t resorted to the paper masks yet, although once flu season starts and everyone on the train starts sneezing on me, i may reconsider.
cheryl: fortunately, my chinese cowboy hat was only $16.99 at target, but now i might need to make a trip to mexico just for the cheap hats.

You’ll be reassured to know that AK’s Chinese cowboy hat (purchased at REI for $35) helped her greatly on our recent trip to Mexico. Of course, once we got there we saw that you could buy the same Chinese cowboy hats outside tourist attractions for $2.50.

i was walking through customs at o’hare yesterday and i could have sworn i saw you wandering around wearing one of those giant paper face masks that some people in japan do during cold and flu season. i mean, i knew it couldn’t possibly be you so i didn’t go up to the woman to say hello or anything, but it’s nice to see confirmation that i didn’t totally dis you or anything. hope you had a great trip!

robin: i don’t look rugged enough here in the city, so i’ll have to wait until i’m in the wilderness.
delmer: no, we did tag-team rowing… three strokes on ones side, then quick pass the oar to the other side… then pass it back.
