When I was in first grade, my friends and I had a plan to combat the alligators and punk rockers that allegedly inhabited the swamp next to our school. It involved filling water guns with rocks.
The ’80s were a paranoid time.

a green apple one would have worked better. those things are almost glow in the dark. They would have helped you find a pay phone in the dark.
