Okay, this time I think the date will stick. It will. It will stick. But I'm not engraving any invitations this time - it's eVite all the way!
What: TequilaCon ‘06
When: April 21-23, 2006 [Main Event will be April 22]
Where: New York City, NY
Who: Still everyone. Yes, that means you, too!
Why: How else would we celebrate the week after Easter if not by consuming obscene amounts of tequila?
For those of you who still need convincing, go here for the history. And if you haven't RSVP'd already, let me know if you're interested in joining the fun! Exit polls indicate that anywhere from 3 to 50 bloggers will be there. The question is: can you afford not to go?

Sadly, I will not be darkening NYC's door until June. I'm sure tales from this gathering will be legendary by then.

Can I ask the committee to consider L.A. as the site for TequilaCon '07? Being so close to the Mexico border must bode well for the local tequila, right? Perhaps the judges would like to receive a few "sample" bottles to help them make their decision (hey, bribery worked for Salt Lake City). Till then, I'll have to stick with drinking alone.

If there is TequilaConning on April 22 (the Saturday) then I, for one, am willing to make the drive to NYC so I might become as TequilaConnish as I possibly can. And that's pretty darn TequilaConnish, let me tell you. Count me in.

just kidding. so, is there like one main event on the 22nd? so the 21st is 'headache night and optional registration', and the 23rd is 'hangover afternoon and optional departure'?

I don't want to hear anything about anybody not making it. I just don't want to hear it. Well... I suppose there's always TequilaCon '07.
And yes, Brandon - I think that's exactly the plan. Saturday will be the main event w/ Friday and Sunday for prep and recovery.
