Hey guys, sorry to tell you like this, but I totally have to cancel TequilaCon. I just found out that I've got a thing I need to do that weekend, so, you know. Some other time.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA APRIL FOOLS!
Wasn't that hilarious when I tricked you? OMG, I'm peeing. Wait... what? You just canceled your flight? No... no. I was totally joking! It's still on! TequilaCon isn't really canceled! And now it's going to cost you an extra $400 to rebook? But... I didn't think you'd believe me. Are you serious? Why would you cancel your flight? And how did you even do that so fast? I mean... it was just a joke.
Oh god. Oh, I feel sick. I'm sick right now. I'm so sorry. See, this is why I hate April Fool's Day.
Look - if it really was canceled, would Dave2 have designed this kickass poster? Of course not! See - it's still on!

miss britt: ha! glad it was only a split second... that's why i really do hate april fools jokes. and at this point, i'm well aware that tequilacon is an unstoppable force over which i have no influence or control. it has a life of its own.

Yeah, I just booked my hotel for TC 08, and have my plane tickets. I'd have to kill you, Jenny, and that would be a shame, since I really want to kiss you more than kill you.
I have a love/hate affair with April Fool's Day. today just happens to be my mom's birthday, AND my twin daughters' birthday! If anyone is sick of April Fool's Day jokes, it's those three women.
Ack, I cannot BELIEVE my girls are 21 today. How the hell did THAT happen?

Argh, man! I wish I could go. Waaaaaaaahhhhh! But it won't be happening for me unless I take to the pole (not likely - too much therapy to go down "that" road) or win Lotto (also unlikely, as the Mormons don't believe in Lotto).
Someday, I'll be done with school and I won't be broke. But until then, I'll play along with tequilla from my closet in the basement of my parent's home (with my fat cat).
