Apparently Winter ate it and Autumn. Such a glutton!

I wasn’t done with summer yet, and I want it back. Is it too late to vote on this?

  4. Cheryl Says:

It moved to L.A., that’s what happened. It’s 90 degrees here and everything’s on fire. You can have it back, really.

    Kick ass pic! Yours?
I feel ya. I’m looking out at snow-covered tree limbs. Just a few leafy holdouts remain.

  8. Hilly Says:

    It’s always summer here! Come…visit…now!

  9. Fiorello La Guardia Says:

Beautiful photo…have you ever had the guts to ride on one of those things? Brrrrr.
As for summmer…in our area the mosquitoes kept biting it until they drained all its blood, and it went insane and left. Yep, that’s the true answer.

I must consult with Puppet Bike and get back to you…

It came and went and left some marvelous memories in its wake.
(I’m counting summer as the extended period from May until mid-October, thanks to some warm days in Chicago there at the end.)

    jess: thank you!
sizzle: it’s just so damn greedy.
shari: all in favor of more summer, say aye…
cheryl: so what you’re saying is that the grass isn’t always greener, sometimes it’s on fire?
dee: thanks – i love navy pier.
churlita: you can’t take it personally, though. it’s not us, it’s winter.
claire: thanks – yes, it’s mine. and i really shouldn’t complain since we don’t have snow yet.
hilly: wait… it’s always summer? can i eat ice cream all day long? send me to this fantasy land!
fiorello: thanks! that’s one nice thing about the city – very few mosquitoes.
dave2: puppet bike knows all, sees all.
vahid: we really did luck out – the weekend after you were here, it was cold and rainy. not ideal cruise weather.

  13. Jennifer Says:

Now, see? I’m already anxious for winter to get here already. A real one. With snow and everything.
