So did you find where you were going?

  2. Ignominious Bob Says:

I didn’t know they had a campus in France. I suppose students who go there are entitled to boast, “Lafayette, we are here!”

Your hair is adorable! No sympathy for you, young lady. Unless you were actually lost, because I know that feeling every time I visit Portland… so I will give you sympathy for being lost, with an empathy upgrade for being in a foreign country. Hope it helps.

  4. claire Says:

J’espère que vous avez trouvé votre chemin!

vahid: in the immortal words of whitesnake, i don’t know where i’m going, but i sure know where i’ve been.

igno-bob: funny you should say that, because i know a french woman who went to purdue, and the running joke was that everyone called it perdue. apparently, not a lot happens in west lafayette, in.

shari: thanks! and being lost in paris is kind of like not being lost at all.

claire: oui, merci, je l’ai bien trouvé!

  6. Cheryl Says:

I’m not sure what Claire said, but if she said your hair looks great, I agree.

  7. Ignominious Bob Says:

Claire was quoting Sartre about the futility of life. I would agree, at least concerning the part of life that involves translating things in and out of French.
